Our Policies

Masterpiece Lodge strives to maintain a safe, quiet, pleasant environment for all guests.  To this end we have adopted the following policies.  By securing a reservation, guests acknowledge they have read and agree with the following.

Reservations

Please mention any gift certificates at time of booking.

Room rate is for single or double occupancy, except where noted on three of the rooms.  Prices do not include sales tax.

A credit card or cash/check deposit is required to reserve a room.  Prepayment of 25% of total will confirm your reservation.  Your reservation balance is collected at check-in.  All changes to confirmed reservations are subject to a $25 administrative fee.

Check-in

Check-in is between 12pm and 8pm.  Early and late check-in requires notification at time of reservation or as far in advance as possible.  Check-out is by 11am.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, checks, and cash.

All unregistered guests must sign in upon arrival.  Children under 18 years of age cannot be left at Masterpiece Lodge without an adult parent or guardian accompanying them.

Sorry, we cannot accept pets.

Cancellations

You must call in any cancellation or change in reservation to make sure it is received.  For cancellations made seven days or more in advance, you will be refunded your entire deposit minus a $25 administrative fee.  If you reschedule your stay for at least the same number of days, a full credit will be applied to your new reservation (including the $25 administrative fee).

Group cancellations must be made ten days in advance.  For cancellations made ten days or more in advance, you will be refunded your entire deposit minus the $25 administrative fee.

For early departures and cancellations within one week, you are responsible for the entire amount of your stay.  We will gladly give a refund for days not stayed only if we are able to rebook all the days.  Any refund would be determined after the intended reservation dates, less the $25 administrative fee, which will be applied to any confirmed reservation change/cancellation.  We cannot refund for inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. 

Smoking

Masterpiece Lodge is a No Smoking facility.  A designated outside smoking area with ashtrays is available for guests’ use.  A $200 cleaning fee will be charged for anyone not adhering to the smoking policy.  Candles and open flames are also prohibited anywhere in the house, except for a fire in the fireplace in the Great Room.
